QSC - Jacquard
Within a research project of ITV-Denkendorf the companies Van de Sandt, Grosse and Genkinger developped a Quick Style Change System for jacquard weaving machines.
2 patents resulted:
» Quick coupling of the harness threads that can be
commonly coupled
» Process patent with: uncoupling of the harness
threads in complete sections, folding up the
harness, uncoupling and removal of the pull-down,
transportation and laying down the harness in a
storage frame or mounting in reverse order
» The same but with drawn-in warp beam
Striking advantages:
» Predicted time for change of jacquard harness is approx. 1 to 2 hours,
depending on the machine size, training of personnel and preparation of the change
» Reduction of the change costs
» Thanks to the short change time also small orders can be woven
» It is possible to put in an order
» Harness threads and pull-down springs are treated very carefully
» Tension of the pull-down springs during weaving can be optimized
» Low tensile stress easily adjustable for different articles
» Easy and economical first installation
